I was approached by an attorney whose client was accused of carrying the suspect's object as a "weapon."
After examining the object, it turned out that it was something that was only "weapon-like" and met, at most, the definition of "dangerous toy" according to the regulations of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor.
A report (not an expert opinion) was written regarding the object being a "dangerous toy" and it was also emphasized that it could not be turned into a "weapon".
Such a report, when presented to police investigations or prosecutions, suffices to dismiss accusations of "carrying a weapon" and the like.
